Who is eligible to be a member?
All lawyers who practice in the area of Criminal Law are eligible to join this section, but the section always welcomes guests to section CLEs. Often a 1.0 hour CLE seminar is incorporated along with the business meeting portion of the luncheon. Section dues are $25 per year.
Purpose of Criminal Law Section:
- Enhance the practice of criminal law for attorneys in the Greater Baton Rouge Area
- Monitor and comment on relevant legislative and jurisprudent developments
- Provide CLE seminars relevant to the practice of criminal law
- Increase social and professional interaction among criminal lawyers
