Formed in the 1989, the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Baton Rouge Bar Association. The Baton Rouge Bar Foundation serves a vital role in our community from providing law-related educational resources to area educators, to representing low-income residents in local courts, to awarding scholarships to deserving students.

Our purposes shall be:

  • To improve and facilitate the administration of justice
  • To promote study and research in the field of law
  • To provide legal services to the indigent and mentally disabled
  • To provide educational support and outreach to youth in the Greater Baton Rouge Area.

The Bar Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that raises funds to support its programs including the Pro Bono Project, Teen Court, Region 3 High School Mock Trial Competition, Law Day and scholarships to worthy students at LSU and Southern Law Centers.  Donations to the BRBF are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.  To discuss how you can make a donation, contact Ann K. Gregorie, Executive Director.
