LASC Lifts Online CLE and Board-Certified Specialist Limitations for 2021
The Supreme Court has issued an Order increasing the number of "self-study" credits permitted to 12.5 hours for 2021. The limitation on "self-study" credits for board-certified specialists has also increased to a maximum of 18 hours for this year. Lastly, a modification has been made that permits excess CLE credits from 2019 to be carried over into 2020, 2021 or 2022.

LASC Amends Online CLE Carry-Over Limit
The Louisiana Supreme Court issued an Order  stating: “In addition to lifting the cap on ‘self-study’ credits…attorneys shall be permitted to carry forward a maximum of four (4) 'self-study' credits to compliance year 2022.”
