Be honest, courteous and diligent with clients, other attorneys and the court. Dont' be scared to tell clients difficult truths. Beware of letting a client rush you into ill-considered legal action; don't be afraid to say, "No."
Remember: there are two sides (sometimes more) to every situation. Finally, be humble -- God gave you your legal talents to use to help people -- not merely to win and get rich.
