| WEATHER ALERT/COURT CLOSURES:
The following courts/offices have announced closure or adjusted hours early next week because of the predicted inclement weather conditions:
- The Family Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. Will resume operations Jan. 22, unless further extended by the court.
- 19th Judicial District Court: Closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.
- Baton Rouge City Court: Closed to the public on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, unless further extended by the Order of the Court.
- EBR Parish Juvenile Court: Closed to the public on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, unless further extended by the Order of the Court.
- The Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. The court will continue to monitor the situation to evaluate if further closures are necessary.
- EBR Clerk of Court's Office: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, due to expected weather conditions. Operations are set to resume Wednesday unless otherwise announced.
- BRBA is closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.
