Civil Legal Services
The Baton Rouge Bar Foundation has been making a meaningful impact on the Greater Baton Rouge community since 1984. Our programs are dedicated to improving equal access to justice and educating the youth of our community about the legal system and their role in it. The Pro Bono Project provides critical civil legal services for low-income members of the community struggling with some of life's most difficult problems: changing family dynamics, estate planning and successions, consumer and debts issues, loss of income through disability, and more.
Youth Education Resources
Our Youth Education Programs were established to fulfill our goal to “educate the youth of our community about the legal system and their role in it.” These programs provide educators with innovative and interactive ways of bringing civics, free enterprise and law studies to life while teaching life skills and basic rights to our youth.
