Young Lawyers…It’s time for a road trip!

Louisiana State Penitentiary is the state’s oldest and only maximum-security prison and, as such, a much sought after tour destination for criminal justice professionals. A regular tour consists of a visit to the museum, the historic Red Hat, a cellblock or dormitory at Camp F, lunch at Camp F and the lethal injection table.

Please join the BRBA Young Lawyers Section for a bus trip to tour the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola on April 27, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The trip includes a 1.0-hour CLE, lunch and the bus ride. Mark White will present the CLE on “Life After Incarceration.” Seating is limited so make your reservations now! Please meet at the West Baton Rouge Courthouse (850 8th Street, Port Allen, La.) at 8:30 a.m. to catch the bus.
