What makes you excited about going to work?

The competitive aspect of practicing law. I love to advocate for my clients at the trial and appellate levels. I love the challenge of outthinking my opponent.


What is the biggest challenge facing attorneys today?

Being able to balance professional life and personal life. We must keep things in perspective.


Best thing about being a lawyer:

The competition. I love competing, whether at the trial or appellate level.

I am driven more than ever before!

Education: 

Northwestern State University:  B.A. in sociology (2003); Southern University Law Center:  J.D. (2006).


Favorite place in Baton Rouge:

Pluckers! I love wings and frachos!


Favorite law school memory:

Watching a movie titled "A Civil Action" during my Basic Civil Procedure class when I was a 1L. It really brought to life what we were learning in class.


What volunteer efforts do you support?

I support any volunteer effort helping the homeless and less fortunate.


If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself? 

Smile, relax, enjoy life.
